Two men involved in a fight, one injured in stabbing


PASO ROBLES — A 25-year-old man was stabbed during a fight Nov. 15, the Paso Robles Police Department reported.

At approximately 2 p.m. on Nov. 15, a San Luis Obispo Sheriff Deputy was patrolling in the 2800 block of Spring Street when he was flagged down by a citizen who was reporting that a fight had just occurred. The deputy notified the Paso Robles Police Department and officers responded. Officers learned that two male subjects had fought and one of the subjects stabbed the other.

It was learned that the suspect, a 56-year-old male, confronted the victim and stabbed a 25-year-old male, during the altercation. The injury to the victim was non-life threatening and he was transported via ambulance to the hospital.

The suspect, who also sustained minor injuries as a result of the altercation, was also transported to the hospital via ambulance.

Paso Robles police detectives are investigating the incident. Once the investigation is complete, charges may be filed.
