A highly-anticipated country music festival at the Pozo Saloon, the Pozo Stampede was set to happen this weekend before being unexpectedly canceled Monday. Hundreds of disappointed fans left comments on the Pozo Saloon Facebook page, angry about the cancellation, but now it looks like they may get the chance to hear some live country music after all.
According to a post on the Pozo Saloon Facebook page, Randy Houser, one of the event headliners, will be performing a free show at the venue Saturday night with an optional donation at the door and 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The venue also recently cancelled the Higher Grounds Music Festival with headliner Li'l Wayne. The show was set for April 22.
Gates for the Randy Houser concert will open at 3 p.m. The venue is located at 90 Pozo Rd., outside of Santa Margarita.
