TEMPLETON — The Highway 101 on-ramp and off-ramp at Main Street in Templeton will be closed Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21 from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Time of actual work is dependent on weather conditions. The work will include removing and replacing existing pavement, laying a new paved surface, and reconstructing various roadside facilities.
For the safety of the public and workers, traffic on Main Street will be subject to detours or one-way controls with flaggers as required for each phase of work. Delays are expected to be up to 10 minutes during major operations. Motorists are advised to adjust their travel plans due to delays and or closures and consider alternative routes.
Papich Construction Co., Inc. of Arroyo Grande, has been awarded the contract for $1.596 million to perform the work. The project is funded by San Luis Obispo County Road Maintenance funds and the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017; Senate Bill 1 gas tax revenue.
