PASO ROBLES — Police are seeking a suspect involved in a shooting in rural Paso Robles just before 10 p.m. Monday night.
At approximately 9:40 p.m., a bullet struck a 2002 Kia traveling eastbound on Highway 46 East, west of Jardine Road. The four occupants of the Kia, one of which was an infant, were not injured.
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, the shot was fired from the driver’s side of a black convertible Ford Mustang. The driver of the Mustang was described as a white male adult, with buzzed hair, medium build and six-foot, three inches tall.
Police searched the area, but were not able to locate the suspect, however a bullet was recovered from the Kia and booked into evidence.
