SLO gang member convicted of robbery

SAN LUIS OBISPO — Joshua Logan Gordon Myers, 19, was found guilty on Nov. 15 by a San Luis Obispo County Superior Court jury for the charges of second-degree robbery, with a special allegation for using a firearm, and committing the crime for the benefit of a criminal street gang, the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office reported. He was also convicted of making criminal threats. All charges are felonies.
These charges stem from an incident in December 2017 where Myers robbed a mobile marijuana delivery service in the parking lot of the San Luis Obispo Costco.
The case was investigated by the San Luis Obispo Police Department and the District Attorney Bureau of Investigation. The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Lindsey Bittner. Myers is scheduled to appear in Department 8 of the San Luis Obispo Superior Court for sentencing on Jan. 17, 2019, the Honorable Matthew Guerrero presiding.
