The Centennial and Municipal City Pools in Paso Robles opened for summer swimmers on Monday, June 10 with lots of splashes and smiles. Katy Sage and her sons stayed cool in Centennial Pool on opening day. Both pools are open Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. for public swim. Swimming lessons, classes and other aquatic activities begin on Monday, June 17.
Paso Robles City Manager Tom Frutchey administered the oath of office to city aquatics staff at Centennial Pool on Monday morning before the pool gates opened. The city pools will offer a variety of summer programs for youth and adults including swimming lessons, a Junior Lifeguard program, diving camps, a recreation swim team, Aqua Jam classes and much more.
