Martha Lorrain Fast

Born March 9, 1930, in Leachville, Ark., passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Oroville Wash. on March 6, 2018, at 12:23 a.m. with daughter Janet and grandson Alex and family by her side.

Proceeded in death by husband Milo Dejournett of Paso Robles, sons Ronnie and Ronald Dejournett of Paso Robles, husband Edgar Fast, parents Vernon Kersey of Ark. and Edna Kersey of Paso Robles, brothers Dee and Ervon Kersey of Mont., George Kersey of Idaho, Ray Kersey of Paso Robles, sisters Jean Kersey, Bertha Harries of Mont., and Less Silva of Paso Robles.

Survived by son Rodger DeJournett of San Miguel, daughter Lorrie and husband Pat Patton of Paso Robles, and daughter Janet Gates of Oroville, Wash. She had 14 grandchildren, 44 greatgrandchildren, and 33 great-greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

At the age of seven, she lost her father so she went out and found jobs to help her mother out. She lived in Paso Robles more than 50 years where she was a loving mother taking care of her family doing babysitting, ironing, whatever she could to help out. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts. She loved making Christmas cookies for her grandchildren.

She went to church at Family Worship Center in Paso Robles, where she was loved by the church and her friends there. Her favorite was going out to lunch once a month with the ladies from church.

Lorraine was a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. We will miss you and always love you.

Services pending at Paso Robles District Cemetery. Graveside service will be May 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.
