Man found burglarizing home, flees out a window


Paso PD searching for a 20-year-old suspect

PASO ROBLES – Paso Robles Police Department responded to an interrupted burglary in the 1200 block of Katherine Ct. on Thursday, Sept. 20.

The owner of the residence had returned home and discovered an adult male, later identified by surveillance footage as Jose Armando Montes Guillen, 20, inside her bedroom. Guillen had a black backpack full of the victim’s belongings and fled out an open bedroom window.

Guillen lives in the same area and is believed to be responsible for additional burglaries within the neighborhood. Guillen is described as an adult male, Hispanic, 20 years old, 5-feet 11-inches, 240 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. Guillen is known to frequent local motels in San Luis Obispo County.
