PASO ROBLES — The World Cheese Competition is held in Wisconsin every other year. This is the largest International cheese competition in the world. This year’s contest drew a record-breaking 3,402 entries, 15 percent more than the 2016 competition, in 120 categories from 26 countries and 32 U.S. states.
Central Coast Creamery won one Best in Class for Seascape, a mixed milk semi-soft cheese and one Second for Holey Cow, a creamy swiss cheese. This is the fifth best in class for Central Coast Creamery with four different cheeses. No other company in the United States has won Best in Class with four different cheeses.
Central Coast Creamery is located in beautiful Paso Robles and is owned by Reggie and Kellie Jones of Templeton.
