Jeffrey Lynn Hendrix born July 10, 1958, passed away Dec. 17, 2018, at the age of 60. After suffering a massive stroke this past April, and battling pneumonia the last month, Jeffrey went to be with the lord.
Jeffrey is survived by his three children, Heidi Hendrix of Oregon, James Hendrix of Oregon, and Danford Hendrix of Atascadero; his grandson Carson Meador; his parents Rex and Betty Hendrix of Santa Margarita; his brother and sister-in-law Brent and Cathy Hendrix; and sister and brother-in-law Jamie and Thom Jespersen.
He touched so many lives with his amazing personality, he was a kind, loving, and a very caring person and would love to joke with the best of them. He graduated from Atascadero High School ‘1976’. He had many degrees… at the young age of 18, he got his real estate license and worked in his Father’s real estate office for many years. Bartending and artificial insemination in cattle. He loved growing up on a ranch in Atascadero and then moved to Spanish Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita where he resided for many years.
Of the many accomplishments in Jeff’s life, he sacrificed much of his life for his children; raising them mostly alone. He lived a spiritual life and had a deep faith in God. He was very close to his Father and Mother and his untimely death is a loss hard to accept. He had many friends and family members, and all are welcome and invited to come and celebrate his life together.
We will be having his service at Chapel of the Roses on Dec. 29 at 11 a.m., following burial at Pine Mountain Cemetery. A Celebration of Life for Jeff will immediately follow at Spanish Oaks Ranch, 19990 Highway 101, Santa Margarita, Calif.
