Henry Karl Trosset, 88, of 920 Lenosa Lane, Atascadero, passed away on Dec. 13, 2017. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany on March 20, 1929 and raised in Austria. Henry graduated from college in Austria and received an Associate Degree in Business.
Henry Trosset was married to Rosemary Trosset on July 9, 1955, until her passing on Oct. 19, 2013. He worked for Pan American Airlines as a lead agent for 28 years. He was a member of the German Club in Los Angeles, in his younger years and a member of the Creston Community Church, in more recent years with wife Rosemary. He had a passion for traveling, European history, politics and real estate investments. He spoke four languages and used them in his world travels and family vacations. He was very hard working and dedicated to his career at Pan Am, often times working graveyard shifts and holidays to provide for a better life for his family. He was adamant about making sure his children went to college and paying for it. He loved to tell his stories of survival from WWII and thereafter and making sure his legacy was passed on in his late years. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all his family and close friends.
He was survived by his two children, Christine Dow (59) and Alex Trosset (53) and two grandchildren, Katherine Dow (25), Cassandra Trosset. (20).
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11 a.m., Dec. 20, 2017, at Atascadero Cemetery. Memorial Reception will be held at 920 Lenosa Lane, Atascadero, CA.
