Firefighters respond to a motorhome fire

PASO ROBLES — Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services with the assistance of Cal Fire responded to a motorhome fire in the 2000 block of Park Street on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 6:13 p.m.
The fire was quickly contained by 6:30 p.m. and crews remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes. The vehicle owner and his dog were able to safely escape the fire with no injuries. The 1979 Dodge motorhome sustained significant damage. A 1980 Chevy El Camino, parked adjacent to the motorhome was saved and only sustained minor paint damage.
