Dustin Lee Davis was born on Nov. 17, 1969, in San Luis Obispo.
He passed away from a sudden heart attack on Jan. 1, 2019, in Atascadero.
Dusty is survived by his parents, Jan and Patti Davis of Atascadero, Calif., and Dori and Lonnie Belden of La Pine, Ore. He is also is survived by his brother Chad, brothers Dan Belden and Doug Belden, sisters Janalee Johnsen, Lacey Lockard, Judi Weinrich, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, sister Lori Rainwater, and uncles Gary Davis and David Melendy.
Dusty lived most of his life in Atascadero, Calif., and graduated from Atascadero High School in 1988. He worked for the California Department of Fire Protection, and later as a CDL driver worked for various trucking companies in Oregon and California. In Sunriver, Ore., he was a greenskeeper for Crosswater Golf Club.
Dusty enjoyed team roping with his brother and cousins, basketball in high school, snow and water skiing. He also loved his motorcycles, dirt bikes, and street bikes. And he loved his dogs, especially Shadow, Trip, and Tazer.
He will be missed by his many family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at the ABC church in Atascadero, 6225 Atascadero Ave. on Jan. 16 at 1 p.m.
