PASO ROBLES — Here’s a list of the special events this month at the Paso Robles Senior Center. Stop by or call for more information on any event. The Paso Robles Senior Center is located at 270 Scott St., and can be reached at 805-237-3880.

Dec. 11, Free Workshop on Taxes
Jeff Guiltinan of All American Advisors will be there to talk taxes — income, Social Security, inheritance and taxes on IRAs. Guiltinan is a Certified Senior Adviser and is dedicated to helping seniors protect and grow their assets in retirement. The workshop is at 2 p.m.

Dec. 12, Free Body in Balance for Active Aging Sample Class
Join instructor Faye Baker, to learn fun and easy exercises to help improve your balance, mobility, and breathing. This free class is from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

Bingo Every Wednesday
Join us for Bingo each Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The Senior Center will serve free popcorn and lots of fun.

Stop by the Senior Center to pick up a calendar of our daily activities. From art and exercise classes to card games and computer assistance, the Senior Center is the place to be.

Senior Volunteer Services (SVS) is a nonprofit organization that designs, coordinates and manages programs that link senior volunteers with organizations needing volunteers in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties. In addition to its Retired Senior Volunteer Program of the Central Coast (RSVP) and Project Lifesaver program, SVS provides direct management and oversight of the operation, staff, and volunteers of the Paso Robles Senior Center. SVS works hand-in-hand with the City of Paso Robles who owns and maintains the Senior Center building.
