APCD seeks input for grants

SAN LUIS OBISPO — The San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District is hosting a series of workshops to gain local community input on air protection grant funding opportunities in their areas.

May 1 – Oceano from 12 – 1 p.m.
Oceano Community Services District

May 2 – San Luis Obispo from 12 - 1 p.m.
SLO Veterans Memorial Building
801 Grand Ave, San Luis Obispo
May 3 – Paso Robles from 12 – 1 p.m.
Centennial Park
 600 Nickerson Drive, Paso Robles
The grant funding is provided by Assembly Bill (AB) 617 and AB 134 with underserved areas in the county being the focus.
Eligible projects for this funding include but are not limited to the replacement of diesel equipment, including heavy-duty on-road vehicles (transit, waste haulers, and heavy-duty trucks), agricultural tractors and irrigation engines, and construction equipment.
The  Air Pollution Control District wants to hear from you, the affected communities and project proponents, with your ideas to help shape the final project selections.
