TEMPLETON San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect involved in a strong-arm robbery that occurred Wednesday morning in a parking lot in the 300 block of S. Main Street in Templeton.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a male victim reported that he was retrieving an item from the front seat of his car around 9 a.m. on Feb. 8 when the suspect shoved him further into the vehicle and stole his wallet from his back pocket. The suspect then ran away with the wallet and an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said no weapons were used, and the victim received a small cut on his arm.

Deputies, along with a California Highway Patrol helicopter and a State Parks K9, searched the area for the suspect but was unable to find him. He is described as a white male adult, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 805-781-4550.
